We specialize working with people who are looking at life and wondering "What's Next?"
Our integrated approach helps you understand your unique individuality, which includes your natural strengths, learning style, interests & aspirations, and use of time & money. Our goal is to help you not only figure out what is next, but to create a roadmap that will get you there. We work one-on-one or in groups.
If you are an organization that works with young people or you are a parent who wants to find new ways to engage your student, we encourage you to check out our individual services. We would love to partner with you as you walk alongside your students.
IAS Personal Advising helps you determine aspirations and reach your goals. Whether those aspirations center around your career, a change in setting, attaining new goals, becoming a better communicator, or learning to grow as a manager or employee, we can help.
We created Personal Advising because we learned long ago that in order to make changes in life you need support, someone who helps you find your strengths, and someone who believes in you. Sometimes a group setting can be uncomfortable or move at a different pace than you prefer. We will work with you one-on-one to make sure you have what you need to figure out where you want to go with your life and what steps you need to take to get there.
Our 1-day TOUCHSTONE experience gives you a basis of understanding your personal dynamics, including how you best think, learn, and grow. Touchstone is both a stand-alone experience and a gateway for further discovery.
Building upon what you learned in Touchstone, our CAPSTONE experience is a life-changing, two-day/one-night retreat. Employing your personal learning styles and utilizing dynamic experiential activities we craft an experience like none other! You learn to apply your strengths, refine your interests, grow your interpersonal communication, and target your time and resources to reach your goals. In the end you will walk away with a plan outlining your growth and progress, as well as have access to tools supporting the implementation and ultimate completion of your plan.
Personal Dynamics Discovery for Parents
Parents often struggle to make sense of their teen. It is as if they speak a different langauge. Our 2-hour session, helps parents, alongside their teen, identify and leverage their teen's natural behavioral strengths. We use a statistically researched, normed, and validated assessment designed to measure personal strengths, decision-making styles, energy style, stress, motivation and much more.
We provide a unique description of each teen and our trained facilitator guides the group through a discussion designed to help parents understand how their teen is wired and how to communicate and motivate more effectively. This session can be attended by parents with or without their teen present.
